it’s the way maura looks down at jo and says “it’s just me.”

it’s the way that she doesn’t even question that she’s in her best friend’s bed until jane asks her what she’s doing there.

it’s the way that immediately after that, they both simply accept it.

it’s the way maura opens jane’s laptop, then walks over to jane’s closet and starts going through it.

it’s the way that it’s all so natural, like she belongs there.
